==Publication history==
The obliviax moss first appeared in the first edition in the fourth set of ''Monster Cards'' (1982) and was created by Lawrence Schick, and later appeared in the original ''Monster Manual II'' (1983).〔Gygax, Gary. ''Monster Manual II'' (TSR, 1983)〕
The obliviax (memory moss) appeared in second edition in the ''Monstrous Compendium Volume Two'' (1989),〔Cook, David, et al. ''Monstrous Compendium Volume Two'' (TSR, 1989)〕 and is reprinted in the ''Monstrous Manual'' (1993) under the "intelligent plant" heading.〔Stewart, Doug, ed. ''Monstrous Manual'' (TSR, 1993)〕
The obliviax appeared in third edition in ''Dragon'' #355 (May 2007).
